  • Yes our vet is shamrock in Eustis, they can attest to our dogs temperament, stability, keeping updated on any and all vet care.

  • We do allow visits by appointment. We ask you to put on booties, wash you hands thoroughly with soap and water, and then germ x, and if you have any dogs at home with fleas, cough, diarrhea to please refrain from visiting. This will be replaced with a video tour and remote visit.

  • We don’t breed any dog until the age of 2 years old, but this is usually closer to 2.5-3 years. Dogs are not adults until the age of 2 and that is when OFA will even accept any official testing, it is considered preliminary until the age of 2.

  • We recommend a raw diet, we use titan raw dog food which is about 3 per pound. Open farm is a high quality kibble as well. We can recommend vitamin supplements to aid in filling nutritional gaps if interested as well. A dog food must be approved by us before being fed to keep your warranty in place. Feeding a crappy diet does not extend a dogs life and allows a plethora of issues.

  • We do not allow you to pick out your puppy. We choose your puppy for you based on your activity level, goals for the dog, housing situation and much more. We temperament test our puppies to ensure they will fit in their new homes well.

  • Yes you can, this is completed up to you but you must understand that deposits are non refundable and I reserve the right to keep back any deposit. Please do not make any deposits lightly. A puppy is a 10-15 year commitment

  • I do not, this is your puppy it is ultimately your choice in what you do with it. But I hope that my vetting process has chosen the best possible homes my puppies could dream of. Also being aware of their contract that they signed and committed to with getting one of our puppies.

  • Solid black, sable, bicolor and black and tans. We do not breed solid silver, liver, panda or brindle as these are not accepted colors for the GSDs. With Labradors we only breed yellow, chocolate or black, as these are also the only accepted colors for Labradors.

  • You can absolutely name your own puppy, we only require that the kennel name “Emery Ranch” be included behind the name that you choose because of the hard work we put into producing that dog and to preserve our lines.

  • We do a full embark panel which tests for 250+ diseases, DM, OFA hips, OFA elbows, OFA thyroid lab testing, OFA patella, OFA basic cardiac exam and OFA eye exam.

  • First you fill out the puppy application, I will set up a call with you to go over it and get to know you, and to also understand what you are looking for. Then I will put you on a wait list for a certain litter of puppies or on a wait list for an older puppy or adult fully trained dogs, depending on whatever we discussed.

  • Yes we do, we guarantee the health of our dogs for one full year if the dog is maintained on a proper diet and exercise regimen. If there is an issue with a dog you will notify us, we will ask for testing proof from a veterinarian. If we ask for a second opinion is must be performed before we supply you with another puppy. Then we will take back the dog and replace them with a puppy we choose. Full refund is for 72 hours of the puppy or dog going home and a health issue arises

  • Yes you can get full breeding rights when full health testing, genetic panel and a working title is achieved.

  • Most of the time yes, Our puppies are sent with a spay or neuter contract to be completed by the age of 2 years. They cannot be spayed or neutered for minimum of 18 months of age, the preferred age is 2 years. When the dog is fully developed into an adult. Pediatric neutering doesn’t allow the dog to mature physically as well as create many health problems. Health guarantee is voided if spayed or neutered too early. Once a working title is achieved, temperament testing and health testing is completed full AKC rights can be given if interested in breeding but this is on an approved basis only and all requirements must be done. This process takes 2-3 years.

  • Yes we do, our regular boarding rate is $75 per night, puppies or dogs that were purchased from us that rate is reduced to $45 per night.

  • Yes you can, the dog will be separated likely from all other dogs even including intact females and of course intact males, the dog would be allowed to be around spayed or neutered dogs.

  • YES! Preventative care is the best care. It is essential to preventatively protect our dogs with every chance that we get. This does go without risk, dogs will feel cruddy after wards because of their immune system over reacting.

  • YES, no medication even Tylenol is safe for every single person on the planet. This same principle applies to dogs as well. Some dogs can have allergies, different genetics that makes them process medications differently and there is risk for seizures. It is recommended to observe your dog for minimum of 3 hours after any new medication.

  • AKC limited registration. Full registration will not be given to 2-2.5 years when requirements are met.

  • Full payment is due at the age of 8 weeks of age. Any additional training that is added or boarding is due at the time of picking up your puppy.

  • We accept zelle, cash, check or via invoice.

  • We take back any dog that was produced from our program for any reason no questions asked. It is required in our contract that this happens, we must approve the dogs next home or we will rehome the dog ourselves.

  • We go over marker words like yes (doing the correct thing) or no (not doing the right thing), we cover commands like here (recall), off, quiet, sit, down, place, heel, and crate training, potty training and LOADS of socialization. This includes different noises, surfaces, people, dogs, places and anything and everything that we can cover. Focused heel, drive building for sport or personal protection, or service/therapy dog training preparation can be included only if discussed.

  • We reserve the right to keep back any puppy for any reason (giving a full refund), we will refuse a sale of any puppy for any reason issuing a full refund, we have the right to make the best decision for our puppies/dogs issuing a full refund if necessary.

  • We keep our puppies until 10 weeks of age. This gives us the opportunity to work more on crate, potty training and develop their confidence for their new homes.
